So you've decided to make the investment and purchase new flooring. It's an exciting time. With so many options available, where do you start?
Who should I work with for my flooring?
First you want to work with a reputable company. One you know will stand behind their work and their products. Ask about warranties, the installation process and make sure you are working with a company that is transparent about their products and services.
Straus Carpets has a five star reputation on Yelp and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to ensure each client has the best experience possible. We have great warranties, have perfected the installation process and we are an open book.
What flooring options are best for my needs and wants?
We feel it is our job to help educate you so you can make the best informed decision. Because floors are our thing, we love to answer questions like what is the difference between hardwood and engineered wood? What IS the difference between vinyl and linoleum? We also know what questions to ask you so we can help you meet your flooring goals.
With even just one vendor we have over 800 options in flooring. That said, our showroom is designed to excite you about the many options available, not to overwhelm you.
You will find our showroom to be clean and organized and our staff friendly and helpful. Our experts will help you narrow down our many options to give you the perfect flooring solution.
What is the installation process like?
We are one of the very few companies that comes out to measure first so we can pre-cut at our facility. Why you ask? There is nothing quite like investing in new carpet and having the installers roll it out in the middle of a dirty street or driveway and then putting it in your home. Yes. Ewwww.
We pre-cut for a few good reasons. First, it's cleaner. Second, we waste less because we measured earlier and know exactly what we need. And lastly, it's much more efficient.
Our carpet is labeled so the installers can pick up your carpet and install in the correct room without the extra time to measure, cut and drag through your home or office. It's just smoother (and cleaner.)
To sum it up
In the end we are able to give our clients three of the best things: a great selection, peace of mind with our warranties and a clean, smooth and efficient installation.
In addition, we offer financing, our products are primarily made in the USA (but also in Europe and Canada), we are Green Certified through the California Carpet Stewardship Program, we do not sell products with formaldehyde, we offer sustainable options and we are big on recycling.
If you are selling your home or office, ask about our Escrow option.
We invite you to our showroom and look forward to providing you with outstanding service from beginning to end.
