Since 1975, Straus Carpet Company has been known for its outstanding service and comprehensive product knowledge. While we have not advertised until now, Straus Carpet Company is known throughout the East Bay by word of mouth and is now providing the flooring needs of the children of our original customers. We offer the full range of flooring products including carpet, vinyl, vinyl tile, linoleum, hardwood and laminate.

Straus Carpet Company has a strong reputation for fairness, service and professionalism. Families, contractors, interior designers and real estate agents all know us as a company that listens to and supports its customers.

The Straus Approach

We concentrate on service more than sales. Of course we need to make sales to continue operating, but we have found that when customer service is our top concern, sales naturally follow. We listen carefully to what our customers want and then offer our advice on which products best fulfill their needs.

We've been proud of our customer service for 30 years now, and we know from our returning customers and comments we receive that we are doing well. Some polling data shows our pride is justified.
